Potter, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Wisconsin (1857–1863), Lorena Hickok, American journalist and friend of the legendary former U.S. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Jay Kersting, American radio talk show host, who attended East Troy Middle School and graduated East Troy High School in 1988.
