A Magnificient Venue for the Outdoors Lover
Welcome to Lake Beulah, Wisconsin!
Lake Beulah is a spring-fed lake in Southeastern Wisconsin in the Kettle Morraine region. The lake is 834 square acres with a mean depth of 17 feet and and a maximum depth of 58 feet. The lake is comprised of beautiful natural formations and settings and is popular for its clear, cool water and the many recreational and restful experiences people of all ages and interests find there.
Lake Beulah is only minutes outside of East Troy, Wisconsin and serves as both a weekend vacation destination and evening resting place for residents of the area. While not as populous as the nearby Geneva Lake, Lake Beulah has plenty to offer its guests. Four seasons of activities keep Lake Beulah open and welcoming, no matter the weather. Even in the harsh Wisconsin winters, visitors to the Lake can enjoy fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, pinecone hunts, or just a scenic and highly photographic view of the lake and its surrounding communities.
Of course, true to its national renown, southern Wisconsin in the spring is a magnificent venue for virtually any outdoor sporting activity, be it fishing, swimming, diving, sailing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, nature hiking, trail biking, rock climbing, etc.. Lake Beulah offers all this and more. All summer long, as the temperature warms up so does the activity at Lake Beulah. Walworth County residents and visitors, alike, warm up to the many ways to have fun at Lake Beulah. And, in the fall, there are fewer images more stunning than a Wisconsin horizon at peak leaf-turning season; it seems every one of the millions of colors in the visible spectrum make these soon-to-be-dormant leaves dance and shimmer against the crisp, blue autumn sky.
For at least the last century, Lake Beulah and its outlying marshes and adjoining smaller lakes have been the summer home to several youth camps sponsored by neighboring churches, denominations, synods and charitable organizations to help urban kids experience the natural life. These camps are highly moderated and guided, with emphases placed on developing values of community, partnership and environmental awareness and appreciation.
Homes and cottages along the shores of Lake Beulah are coveted for their convenience and pleasant atmosphere. While not on the market very often, property buyers seeking developed lake property and year-round or summer lake homes would find fewer locales better than Lake Beulah in lovely Walworth County, Wisconsin.
